practical remake activity

I believe our film remake was well done as we covered many of the aspects used at the start of the film we were re-creating ' The Breakfast club'. This is due to every last detail for example the font of the credits and the colour almost mirror the exact film. We also used the sound that was typically used at the start of the film to introduce the characters to play over the shots of the school instead as it set the atmosphere. Unfortunately the final edits and as we transferred the video to the blog cut some of the credits but the overall theme was presented well. I would say that an improvement we could have made is that when we edited the scene of the notebook we could have cut out background sound because it came un-naturally and didn't exactly fit the film. I also think we should have used the tripod more because some of the shots were extremely shake for instance the first shot we used of the school was wobbly and looked unprofessional. As we didn't have many trophies to use for the trophy cabinet scene we made the most out of our props and made the set up look as official as possible which i think looked good in the end result. Also instead of using the 'prom queen' pictures etc on the wall of the oriiginal we filmed what we thought could translate to that at our college so we looked where we could find pictures of staff that we could use in our school.  Aswell as this we filmed the notice board to give the atmosphere of our college where they used similar shots to show the atmosphere of that particular school. url.jpgthis is the shot they used for the hall and we used  the same angle and we also tried keeping to the same time the shots lasted on the screen in the opening and applied it to our final remake.                                                                                        This picture is the typography used in the initial film, which is very similar to what we did.url.jpg
