Black Swan Title Sequence

The Black Swan title sequence is a discrete title sequence because it has slight connotations of what may happen in the film and it may not be to what it seems. This isn’t shown at the beginning of the sequence as there is lively, classy music playing in the background, which makes the viewer think it will be more of an elegant and upbeat film. However the silhouette of the ballerina suggests there is a hidden truth about the reality of the characters/storyline, which will make it very intriguing to an audience because they will want to know what the rest of the film will expose. During the title sequence there is also effects of black liquid squirting on the screen, which also presents negativity, and there is more to see then what meets the eye. I also thought the ending was really effective as when the music was coming to the end the title of the film also came on the screen and when the music stopped the screen became pitch black which gave dramatic element and made it seem like the title show itself was a film which matched the focus of the story.
